Abstract

In this thesis, I analyze the feministic aspects of the children and youth poetry published after the ‘feminism rebooting’ especially for the poetry in which the female children and adolescent persona are clearly presented in the whole poetry. Based on the feminism literature theory, I also critically review the recent critics that mentions the female persona in the connections to the female writers, and studies their connections at the children and youth poetry. In the conclusion, I understand the children and youth poetry that present the female persona in front is meaningful, in the gender political point of view, in visualizing the female children and adolescent persona, and in the ethics and esthetics point of view of the children and youth poetry, in reorganizing more specific and individual reality of children and adolescents. In the poetry, the female children and adolescent persona, in showing their innner mind and in presenting their experiences, make new voice which is not observed at the children and youth poetry until now, and make us imagine a possibility to be in the solidarity and sympathy between the children and grownups.
