초록

In this study, collections of children's songs and poems that had been published for about 40 years from the children's songs movement in the 1920s until the mid-1960s. The list of these collections have changed according to the system that gives values to texts, the benefits and interest of groups, and by the canonical functions required by the society. In 1929, "Joseon Children's Songs Collection" was published based on the activities of the association of the youth movement in 1927. This collection is meaningful in that it tried to gather the outputs of the creative children's songs for about five years since 1923. "Joseon Children's Literature Collection" published in 1938 propounded the 'purity of childhood' and 'artistry' in the works while setting aside the sad tendencies or sociality that appeared in the children's songs during the 1920s and 1930s. This editorial policy even affected after the division of the two Koreas as well as during the day. "Complete Collection of Joseon Children's Songs 1" which was published right after the Liberation was planned with the intention of making a synthesis of the children's songs before the Liberation. However, it was not completed due to the publication circumstances of the liberation era and has a reason for disqualification as a canon. "Modern Children's Songs Collection" which was compiled by Park Yeong-Jong in 1949 is a textbook that canonized the flow of our children's songs from the Japanese colonial era until right before the Liberation. This collection is meaningful in that it included the writers of left and right wings together in spite of the deepening opposition between the South and North Koreas after the Liberation. However, even though the poets were diverse, most texts consist of children's songs that depict the "world of childhood." This collection has the character of a canon that prepared the flow of children's songs and poems after 1950's because Park Yeong-Jong has become the mainstream in the literary circles of children's songs after the division of two Koreas. "Modern Korean Children's Literature Collection" which was published in the 1950s, and "Collection of Korean Children's Songs and Poems" and "Complete Collection of Korean Children's Literature 11" which were published in the 1960s reflected the political ideologic context of the South Korean society after the Korean War. All the poets who had been kidnapped and defected to North Korea were excluded although they had been included in the list of canons during the colonial era and the liberation era. Their empty seats were filled with new faces and adult literature writers of the 1950s. These collections clearly show these circumstances.
