Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of job stress on job burnout, mediating role of self-efficacy, and moderated mediating role of perceived supervisor support. The data were collected from workers in beauty service industries. The survey was conducted from February 1 to March 31, 2022. Among 450 copies, 418 copies were collected, excluding 21 copies which were lacked sincerity, 397 copies were used for analysis. Reliability, factor analysis, correlation, mediation analysis, moderation analysis, moderated mediating analysis were performed using SPSS Ver.24.0, Amos Ver.24.0, and Process Macro Ver.3.5. The results of the study are as follows: First, job stress had a positive(+) effect on job burnout. Second, job stress had a negative(-) effect on self-efficacy. Third, self-efficacy had a negative(-) effect on job burnout. Fourth, self-efficacy played a mediating role between job stress and job burnout. Fifth, perceived supervisor support played a moderating role between self-efficacy and job burnout.
