본 연구는 보건교사들을 대상으로 업무 영역별 스트레스 요인 분석을 통한 직무스트레스 척도를 개발하여그 타당도를 파악하기위한 목적으로 2012년1월 1일부터 2012년 6월 30일까지 5개월 동안 수행되었다. 3단계의 연구 과정을 통해 최종 5개 요인의 26문항의 보건교사 직무스트레스 척도가 개발되었으며 최종척도에 포함된 문항들은 1차 전문가 집단에 의한 내용타당도 검증, 2차 탐색적 요인분석, 3차 확인적 요인분석 및 신뢰도, 타당도 검증의 과정을 통해 보건교사의직무특성을 반영하여 완성 되었다. 본 척도를 활용하여 보건교사의 일반적 특성별 직무 스트레스 차이를 검정한 결과 직무스트레스 하위 영역중, 학교 급별과 상관없이 학생 및 가정 요인이 가장 높은 점수 나타냈고, 보건행정요인이 가장 낮은 점수를보였다(p<.01, p<.001). 교육경력과 직무스트레스 관계는 동료교사 인식에서만 통계적으로 유의한 차이가발견되었고(F=2.444, p<.05), 사후검정 결과 ‘16~ 20년’ 근무경력의 보건교사가 3.99±0.80로 가장 높은 스트레스 지수를 보였으며 ‘26년 이상’ 보건교사가3.15±0.87로 가장 낮은 스트레스를 보여 유의한 차이를 보였다. 학교 급별 간의 차이에서는 초, 중, 고, 특수학교 직무 스트레스 평균은 3.44±0.60, 2.77±0.67, 2.98± 0.74, 2.70±0.15로 초등학교 보건교사의 직무스트레스 점수가 가장 높았으며 학급 수에 따른 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 타 학교 근무 경력과 직무스트레스 점수는 타 학교근무 경력이 있는 보건교사들이 '관리자 인식‘ 요인을제외한 4가지 모든 항목에서 높은 직무스트레스 점수를 보였다. 한국의 보건교사는 외국의 보건담당 교사와는 달리의료인 면허와 교사 자격을 동시에 가지고 교육 현장에 투입되어, 외국의 보건관련 척도로 직무 스트레스를 비교하기에는 무리가 따른다. 그리고 국내의 일반교사들을 위한 직무스트레스 척도만으로는 보건교사의직무 스트레스를 정확하게 측정하기는 어렵다. 향후본 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 한국의 보건교사들에게 적합한 직무스트레스 척도가 지속적으로 개발 및 발전되어 나간다면, 보건교사 개인의 직무스트레스를 줄이는것 뿐 아니라 궁극적으로 교육 수요자들을 위해 심신이 건강한 보건교사로서 그 역할을 충실히 수행하는데도움이 되리라 본다.
Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop the scale to measure job stress for school health teachers. Methods: It was performed through three steps. In the first step, open questionnaire was provided for 200 school health teachers to obtain subjective data on their job stress, based on which, 71questions were created. In the second step, the 38 questions were developed by classifying through exploratory factor analysis of the first 71 questions and conducting pilot tests. In the third step,26 questions were finally chosen through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and verified the differences of school health teachers' job stress by general characteristics using this final scale. Results: Exploratory factor analysis was approved as the suitable factor analysis (χ2=3178.53,df=325, p=.000, KMO=.932). Confirmatory factor analysis showed acceptability of construct validity (CR>0.5, all factor), convergent validity, (CR, AVE more than marginal value),and discriminant validity (squared multiple correlation<AVE). One-way ANOVA and independent t-test showed that there was significant difference in job stress scores according to level of school. Student &families factor gained highest score in the all school levels. The average level of job stress in order of highest to lowest was elementary, high, middle, special school (p<0.01, p<0.001). Conclusion: This study developed the scale to measure job stress for school health teachers of 5 factors and 26 questions and the scale was approved as suitable one. It was suggested that studies on the relationship between health teachers’ personality characteristics and job stress should be conducted.
