<申遺腹傳>의 설화 수용 양상과 영웅소설사적 의의

Abstract

This study is to research the acceptant shape of legendary and the historical significance of <Shinyoubokjeon>. First, I inspected the acceptant shape of legendary on <Shinyoubokjeon> by dividing the functions of legendary's motives into an episodical function and plot-leading function. A chogungmandal motive is leading the plot of the work and it has a strict relationship with the existence of hero story that has been realized by accepting the ancient legendary. The other side, <Shinyoubokjeon> is completed by positive acceptance zijinzigam and honsazangae motives in composing the episode in the first half of the whole work and two motives are handed down from generation to generation in the legendary. As well as I inspected the principle or the theory of accepting the legendary in the work. Zijinzigam and honsazangae motives are based on the trials and unusual ability of a person. In addition they had been utilized commonly to describe the characters who are early bitter trials and late advancement. Therefore they have a similarity in the meaning-inclination and the narrative structure. Lastly, acceptance of legendary on the work means deep concern in the actual matters of aristocratic hero novel and in this point <Shinyoubokjeon> has a definite significance in the hero novel history.
