1930년대 이후 정악의 변화양상 고찰

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the historical change of aristocratic music (chŏngak 正樂) since the 1930s. Currant chŏngak performances have been given mainly by musicians who graduated the Kugaksa Yangsŏngso 國樂士養成所 (Training Center of Musicians for Traditional Music). Since they were trained on the basis of transcribed scores rather than the oral tradition of their teachers, the musical expression would not be flexible or fluent but became rigid. In this paper, therefore, the author investigate the changing aspects of chŏngak performance since the 1930s from the historical point of view.
