사진 전문 도슨트에 대한 연구

Abstract

A docent, is a person to interpretate about an artist and a piece of work with guiding viewers by taking certain education in museum and art gallery, he plays a role of a communicator to help to communicate viewers with works through interpretation about the works, but he does not only interpretate but also re-interpretate the existing interpretations as a ‘story teller’. In other word, most of the people yet have a difficulty to understand art works so the docent plays a role or a media connecting works and viewers. Then he is a first person who can closely meet to people and can feel response from them. This has a meaning of one in kinds of ‘communication’ and this can be made through education. Recently, in the country, several art museum like as Samsung art museum is operating educating programs by selecting docents. In this studying, it was predicted that it becomes more needed about discussion of docents even in field of photograph which is made actively in artistic community and it was discussed that necessity and growing plan of a professional docent on field of photograph. It is anticipated that people can meet photographs more interestingly by rising docents for preparing against that photo gallery is opened gradually in the future.
