본 연구는 유아의 운동능력, 자아존중감, 창의성 발달에 있어 대상통제운동의 중요성을 수용하고 유아에게 적합한 통합적대상통제운동 프로그램을 개발하여 그 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 유아에게 적합한 대상통제운동과 체조 및 신체표현 활동을 선정․조직하여 프로그램화하였고, ‘통합원칙’을 근거로 통합적대상통제운동 프로그램을 개발하여 만 5세 유아에게 적용하였다. 통합적대상통제운동 프로그램을 실험처치하여 분석한 결과, 유아의 운동능력, 자아존중감 그리고 창의성 증진에 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 앞으로 통합적대상통제운동 프로그램은 유아의 운동능력과 자아존중감 그리고 창의성을 증진시키기 위한 접근으로써 교육현장에서의 적용이 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop an integrated object-control motor education program for 5-year-old children, and to investigate the effects of that program on young children’s motor development, self-esteem, and creativity. The subjects used in this study were 113 children who attended at two kindergartens. To develop the integrated object-control motor education program for young children, core factors for an object control program, gymnastics program and physical expression program were selected. The study’s integrated object-control motor education program’s purpose, content and teaching method were then developed as were materials, the role of the program’s teacher and an evaluation based on the “integration principal”. The results of this study suggested that the integrated object-control motor education program for young children was to affect young children’s motor development, creativity and self-esteem in a positive way, thus demonstrating its viability for use in early childhood educational settings.
