만 2세 영아반에 적절한 음악경험이 음악적성 및 태도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 만 2세 영아반에 적절한 음악경험이 음악적성과 음악태도에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위하여 경기도에 소재한 S어린이집의 만 2세 영아 28명과 C어린이집의 만 2세 영아 28명을 선정하여 실험집단과 통제집단으로 분류하였다. 실험집단은 10주 동안 일상생활을 통하여 만 2세 영아반에 적절한 음악을 경험하도록 하였으며 통제집단은 담임교사에 의한 일상적인 음악활동이 이루어졌다. 연구도구인 만 2세 영아반에 적절한 음악경험은 연구자가 고안하여 사용하였다. 검사도구인 음악적성은 Gordon(2004)의 PMMA를 영아에게 적절한 질문방식으로 수정하여 사용하였으며 음악태도는 ‘교사가 제안하는 음악활동의 유형과 빈도’, ‘자발적인 음악관련 행동유형과 빈도’를 관찰을 통하여 알아보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 만 2세 영아반에 적절한 음악은 음악적성에 영향을 미쳤으며 음정과 리듬 검사 중 음정점수가 더 많이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 만 2세 영아반에 적절한 음악경험은 음악태도에 영향을 미쳤다. 교사가 제안하는 음악활동의 참여유형과 빈도는 손유희, 동작활동, 악기연주하기의 적극적 참여에서 실험집단이 통제집단보다 유의미하게 증가하였다. 음악관련 자발적인 행동유형의 빈도는 자발적인 노래부르기, 자발적인 악기다루기, 자발적인 움직이기에서 실험집단이 통제집단보다 유의미하게 증가하였다.
Abstract
This study examines the effects of appropriate music experiences for toddlers on their musical aptitude and attitude. The subjects were 56 two year old Toddlers enrolled at a child care center in Kyonggi-do. Appropriate music experiences were constructed 10 principal experiential modes(musical sense, singing, listening, playing an instruments, improvisation, finger play, moving, simple games, word-sound music games, and routine music). Assessments after the experiences demonstrate a significant difference in musical aptitude, especially the tonal test revealed more improvement than was evident in the rhythm test. In participation styles and frequencies during teacher-directed musical activities time, there was a significant difference in the active participation segment. In behavior styles and frequency of spontaneous music play, there were significant differences in spontaneous singing, playing, and moving.
