유아교육정책 변화에 따른공립유치원교사의 교직생애에 대한 연구

본 연구는 우리나라 교육정책 변화에 따른 공립유치원 교사의 교직 생애를 통해 유치원교사로 살아가는 삶을 심층적으로 조명함으로써 그 속에 드러나는 변화․발달에 대한 경험을 구체적으로 밝혀 보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 경남소재 공립유치원 교사 15명이며 심층면담 후 공통의 경험을 바탕으로 주제를 정하고 텍스트를 해석하였다. 연구 결과 최근 30년의 변화된 유아교육정책에 대한 공립유치원 교사들의 공통된 관심 정책은 공립유치원 확대정책, 만3세 입학 연령 확대와 전임강사 특별 채용, 유아학교 추진 및 유아교육법제정, 보직교사제도, 유치원 기관평가, 종일제 운영의 내실화, 유아교육 선진화방안, 정보공시, 유치원 운영위원회 운영, 교원평가 등으로 나타났다. 또한 유아교육 정책 변화에 따른 공립유치원 교사들의 교직 생애는 초임교사의 낯설음과 겸직업무의 어려움을 경험한 생존기, 가르치며 배우고 동반 성장을 경험한 성장기, 유아교육법 제정 등 유아공교육화를 위해 열정을 쏟은 전문기, 승진 지향과 좌절의 전성기, 안정과 침제의 이원기로 다양한 생애의 경험을 한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 최근 30년 유아교육 정책 변화에 대한 교사들의 공통된 관심 정책과 그 정책의 변화에 따른 공립 유치원 교사들의 교직생애에 대한 경험을 바탕으로 공립유치원교사들의 교직 생애를 심층적으로 조명할 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe public kindergarten teachers’ teaching life according to the changes of kindergarten educational policy by doing in-depth research This study also aimed to identify the detailed experiences of public kindergarten teachers about the changes and developments revealed in their careers. Participants for this study were 15 public kindergarten teachers who are working in Gyungnam area. Texts were interpreted based on kindergarten teachers’ common experiences after in depth interviews. According to the result for this study, from 1980’s to present, kindergarten educational policies have been developing toward public schooling of child education. This change can be described as the times of expansion of child public education, quality enhancement, reform drives, settlement and modernization. Additionally, lives of public kindergarten teachers according to the policy changes of child education showed various experiences according to the times of survival Kindergarten teachers experienced the strangeness as a beginning teacher and with difficulties of joint responsibilities. In the times of growth they taught, learned, and grew together. In the times of specialty kindergarten teachers poured enthusiasm for child public education including the enactment of child education laws. They also experienced ‘golden ages’ with promotion oriented efforts and frustration and ‘duality’ with stability and recession. In this study, teaching careers of public kindergarten teachers could be identified in depth, based on the changes of public kindergarten education policies for the last 30 years and on the public kindergarten teachers’ teaching life who lived a life on that period.
