예비유아교사들이 현장의 유아·놀이중심 교육과정 운영사례 비디오 관찰에서 주목하는 내용분석

본 연구는 예비유아교사들이 현장의 유아·놀이중심 교육과정 운영사례 비디오 관찰에서 주목하는 내용을 분석하여 예비교사교육에 시사점을 도출하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사 41명을 대상으로 총 185개의 분석단위로 분할된 관찰지와 81개로 분할된 심층면담자료를 수집하였고, 이를 토대로 예비교사들이 주목하는 내용을 주체, 주제, 견지, 근거 차원으로 분석하였고 예비교사가 주목하는 대상과 이를 진술하는 경향을 종합적으로 분석하여 예비교사의 주목하기 특성을 파악하였다. 분석결과 예비교사들은 교사보다 유아에게 더 많이 주목했으며, 유아의능력과 놀이의 가치보다는 유아의 특성과 놀이 장면에 더 많이 주목하였으며, 주목한 대상에 대해 평가 및 해석하는 진술보다 기술하는 진술이 많았으며, 주목한 대상에 대해 판단하는 근거로유아의 유능성과 놀이를 통한 배움보다는 근거 없음이 주로 많이 나타났다. 그리고 예비교사의주목하기 특성은 자신이 알고 있는 유아에 주목하기, 놀이의 외적 특성에 주목하기, 겉으로 드러나는 교사역할에 주목하기로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 예비교사들의 주목하기 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육의 필요성과 구체적 방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze pre-service early childhood teachers’ notice on the video observation of child and play-based curriculum running case. The subjects of the study were 41 pre-service early childhood teachers. They were questioned on what they have noticed in observing child and play-based curriculum running case, and were asked to freely state their own views regarding the questions. If necessary, the participants were interviewed. An analysis was conducted on the collected data using the ethnographic interview method. The result of the present study suggests that a majority of pre-service early childhood teachers paid a close notice to the child, and characteristics of child and play. In addition, when the pre-service early childhood teachers evaluated the objects to which they had noticed, a number of description were presented, and rationales were suggested including child’s thinking, and meaning of play. Finally, this study discussed the implications for the pre-service early childhood teachers’ education.
