Abstract
The purpose of this study is to read ‘learning’ in the ‘life of young children’ at age 2. In the ‘life of young children, not only young children’s learning occurs, but also the researcher’s learning became intertwined as an observer. This study is specifically aimed at reading the learning of the young children and the researcher together in the young children’s life. From December 2024 to February 2025, the lives of Sarangban young children were observed and studied using the non-representational methods of ‘event,’ ‘temporal diffraction,’ and ‘re-turning’. The results were as follows. The dokkaebi juice and rice-making stone hole events and material discourse learning, the poisonous mushroom tree and chick grave events and care learning, the unknown event and nothingness learning, and the treehole hunting event and record learning were revealed. This study took a fresh look at the richness of learning in young children’s lives. and found that reading for learning plays an important role in the support of young children’s learning. Furthermore, teachers’ reading for learning needs to be more layered to support young children’s learning.
