Abstract
This article explores the relationship between the man and the world through the meaning of Marxism as a practical philosophy in Karel Kosík. He analyzes the abolishment of philosophy as the realization of philosophy for Marx in three aspects from Dialectics of the Concrete. The first is abolished by the realization of philosophy. The second is abolished by the transformation of philosophy into the social theory. The third, philosophy is abolished when it survives as formal logic or dialectical logic. However, he criticizes these points of the view and makes his Marxism into humanistic Marxism by capturing the activities of the human subject in the philosophy of the practice. It defines the position of the human beings in the world and contributes to clarifying the moments of the practice in the human being as a meaning of the labour and the existence. Human beings are defined not by the totality pseudo-wholeness or fiction but by concrete totality. In order to grasp the true reality, we have to combine the concrete totality with the dialectics that pursue the things themselves. Furthermore, through the dialectical thinking, the human being can orient themselves toward an the open world through the practice, not only as the sum of the processes of the relations and facts, but also as the structures, occurrences, and totals. Eventually, such practice is established when the man is defined through the totality of the world revealed in the history.
