항공기범죄예방을 위한 법적 대응방안

Abstract

The terrorist acts of unbelievable proportion against the United States put the entire world into shock and grief. After hijackers flew two airliners into the World Trade Center, collapsing both towers into flaming rubble, and crashed another aircraft into the Pentagon. Like this, frequent interchange owing to development of air traffic offers another attack objective or a crime means for the criminals. Hereupon safe air traffic has the problems with which we are confronted. Thus, this study summarizes harmful side effects and general counterplan caused by air traffic and discusses the 'Hijacking' which has become a synonym for the air crime. And the main focus of this study is unfolded according to the public international law and the municipal law. To put it concretely, the first, the characteristic of air traffic, especially the point at issue, is to be summarized. The second, the present legal confrontation system which functions consummate and the point at issue about its system is to be discussed. In conclusion, for the measures for protection against the aircraft crime, with political and diplomatical concerns, in addition to incessant progress of scientific technology, both development of municipal and public international law and endeavor to perform it must be accompanied.
