이 논문은 백석 시의 리듬을 분석하기 위해 ‘프로조디(prosodie)’와 ‘템포’ 개념을 사용한다. 프로조디 개념을 이용해서 백석 시의 리듬을 논구하기 위해 이 논문의 연구 대상은 「국수」로 한정한다. 이 논문은 프로조디라는 리듬 방법론의 실제적 분석 결과를 입증하기 위해 통사 단위의 의미 단락에 의해 형성되는 리듬을 논구한다. 소리 단위의 리듬과 의미 단위의 결절은 상응한다. 이 논문은 통사적 리듬 즉, 통사 단위의 의미 단락이 형성하는 휴지에 의해 발생되는―템포와 강세(accent)로 귀결되는―리듬을 토대로 하여 자음과 모음 계열체들의 리듬을―프로조디를―서술한다. 기존 연구에서 거론되었던 리듬 형성 방법인 ‘반복’ 이외에 이 논문에서 새로운 방법론으로 사용한 템포와 프로조디 개념을 통해서, 백석의 시에서 구현되는 강력한 리듬의 동력이 표층 차원의 반복뿐만 아니라, 작품의 심층적 구조에서 발생된다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 「국수」의 호흡 분절은 텍스트의 의미 단위 분절과 리듬 단위 분절에 상응한다. 호흡 분절에 의해 형성된 템포가 율독의 속도를 조절하고, 심리적으로 의미의 강세 지점을 표시하는 것이다. 아울러 자음과 모음 계열체인 프로조디 중에서 모음 ‘ㅜ’ 계열체는 국수의 특성을 수식하는 ‘눈’의 특징을 드러내는 과정에서 핵심 의미소로 기능하고 동시에 역동적인 리듬을 형성한다. ‘ㅎ’ 계열체는 텍스트 전체에서 주목된다. 그 불규칙적인 산포 양상에도 불구하고, 작품이 전개되면서 강세 기능을 담당하고 동시에 의미에 호응하는 리듬을 형성한다.
Abstract
This paper analyzes the rhythm of the Baek-seok's poetry ‘prosodie’ and ‘tempo’ concept is used. The subjects of this paper, “국수(noodles)” are limited to. This paper using prosodie rhythm analysis of the methodology will prove practical. To this end, the meaning of syntactic units which are formed by the rhythm of the paragraph is argumentation. Meaningful units of sound and rhythm of the unit corresponds. The meaning of syntactic units to form the short downtimes. Syntactic rhythm tempo and accents is a consequence. Syntactic rhythm causes tempo and accents. Based on this, describing the rhythm of the vowels and consonants are integral. In previous studies, This has been discussed with the rhythm method of forming a ‘repeat’. The powerful rhythms of the Baek-seok's poetry is generated at the deep structure of the work. This fact is confirmed by the prosodie and tempo. This works in a meaningful segment of the respiratory segment and the rhythm unit is equivalent to segment. Formed by segmental breathing tempo will adjust the speed of reading. It also means that the psychological strength of the points are indicated. ‘ㅜ’ series set to create a core meaning, and at the same time to form the dynamic rhythm. ‘ㅎ’ series set in the entire text is noteworthy. This is in spite of the irregular variation pattern, ‘ㅎ’ set series in the works is responsible for the accent of the meaning. This means that at the same time to form a response to the rhythm. ‘Prosodie, tempo, (accent)’ produces rhythm, indicating the pause clarifying units of the meaning. Thanks to the rhythm of Baek-seok's poetry, the acute sense of dynamics does not sink into the tone of defeatism. Reading it silently, one can feel the active movement in it. For this reason, the meaning of his poetry is not fixed. The steady flow of musicality of Baek-seok's poetry is demonstrated by this rhythm.
