The occlusal force ís principal factor in maintaining 야riodontal health and has been concem in influence on periodontal tissue‘ FibrobJast, of which periodontal Jigament mainly comprises, shows high alkaline phosphatase activity, so it couJd be supposed 01 simiJ앙 role to osteoblast. 매so it has been reported that osteoblast secrets factor that differentiates osteoblast and suppresses bone resorption. Previous studies referred to an interchange of coJlagen fiber by fibroblast but there is no report that fibroblast shows tartrate resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) activity, which can cause of bone destruction. The aim of this study is that we analyse spatially the change of mandibular periondontal tissue including PDL fibrobJast as time elapses in a case of missing maxillary molar. Twenty-three rats were used for this study. A11 right maxillary molars were extracted and after 3, 7, 14 and 21 days, the rats were killed. After observing mesiodistal and buccolingual section of the distobuccal root of lower first molar, and inspecting osteoclasts and PDL fibroblast, we concluded the foJlowing‘ 1.
