본 연구는 뮤지컬 전공자들이 직무와 관련하여 음악적 역량을 강화하기 위한 교과과정에 대해 연구하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국내 2, 3년제 전문대학과 4년제 대학 뮤지컬학과의 교과과정 현황과 문제점을 진단하였고 뮤지컬 직무와 음악적 역량을 바탕으로 현 교과과정에 적용 가능한 개선방안과 교과목을 제안하였다. 이와 같은 연구를 진행하기 위해 뮤지컬 직무를 네 가지로 분류하여 각 직무에 따라 교과목을 분류하여 분석하였고, 각 직무에 필요한 음악적 역량을 제시하였다. [직무1]은 공연 및 실기분야로서 이에 필요한 음악적 역량은 ‘감성소통역량’과 ‘창의성역량’이다. [직무2]는 기획 및 제작 분야로서 이에 필요한 음악적 역량은 ‘창의성역량’과 ‘음악정보처리역량’이다. [직무3]은 교육 분야로서 이에 필요한 음악적 역량은 ‘자기주도성 역량’,‘공동체 역량’이다. [직무4]는 산업 및 인접 분야로서 이에 필요한 음악적 역량은 ‘공동체역량’과 ‘음악정보처리역량’이다. 본 연구는 기존의 국내 뮤지컬학과의 교과과정을 비교·분석하여 다음과 같이 뮤지컬 전공자의 교과과정 개선방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 음악기초 및 심화 교과목 강화하여 실기력 향상을 도모해야 한다. 둘째, 뮤지컬 교육 관련 교과목 개설하여 뮤지컬 교육 인재를 양성해야 한다. 셋째, 뮤지컬 산업 및 인접 분야 교과목을 개설하여 새로운 진로를 탐색할 수 있는 가능성을 제시해야 한다. 넷째, 온라인을 통한 뮤지컬의 진출 확대를 대비해야 한다.
Abstract
This study is to study the curriculum for musical majors to strengthen their musical competence in relation to their jobs. To this end, the current status and problems of the curriculum of two- or three-year vocational colleges and four-year college musical departments in Korea were diagnosed, and improvement measures and subjects applicable to the current curriculum were proposed based on musical jobs and musical capabilities. To conduct such research, musical jobs were classified into four categories, subjects were classified and analyzed according to each job, and musical competencies required for each job were presented. This study compared and analyzed the curriculum of the existing domestic musical department and suggested a plan to improve the curriculum of musical majors as follows. First, it is necessary to improve practical skills by strengthening basic and in-depth music subjects. Second, musical education-related courses should be opened to cultivate musical education talents. Third, it is necessary to present the possibility of exploring new courses by opening courses in the musical industry and adjacent fields. Fourth, it is necessary to prepare for the expansion of the entry of musicals online.
