대학생 진로집단상담 프로그램의 연구동향 및 효과에 대한 메타분석

본 연구의 목적은 국내 대학생 진로집단상담 프로그램 관련 연구의 최근 연구동향을 분석하고 대학생 진로집단상담 프로그램의 효과에 대한 메타분석결과를 제시하여 대학생 대상 진로 집단상담 프로그램 개발의 질적인 향상을 위한 자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 2001년부터 2019년 까지 ‘대학생 진로 집단상담 프로그램’의 주제로 KCI 등재지 및 등재후보지에 게재된 논문 61편을 대상으로 연구동향 분석을 하였다. 분석결과, 대학생 진로집단상담 프로그램 연구는 2001년 이후로 꾸준히 증가하였으며, 특정대상을 위해 개발된 프로그램은 여학생(6편), 신입생(5편), 장애학생(5편)대상 등으로 총 22편이었다. 또한 관련 연구물이 가장 많이 게재된 학술분야는 교육학(35편), 심리과학(12편), 학제 간 연구(10편) 순이었다. 각 프로그램의 방법별 현황은 진로요인 적용(35편), 상담이론 적용(12편), 매체 적용(10편), 심리검사 적용(3편) 순이었다. 분석대상 논문 61편 중 통제집단 실험설계를 적용한 연구 41편의 논문을 대상으로 메타분석을 실시하였다. 추출된 86개의 효과크기를 분석한 결과, 프로그램의 평균효과크기는 1.3639로 매우 큰 효과를 나타내었으며, 집단운영방식(집단크기, 회기수, 회기당 운영시간) 및 종속변인에 따른 조절변인 효과를 추가적으로 분석하여 제시하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 대학생 집단상담 프로그램의 연구동향 분석 및 메타분석결과에 대해 논의하고 한계점 및 제언을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the current trend of research related to the career group counseling programs for Korean college students and to meta-analyze the effectiveness of the programs, in order to provide the data to improve the quality of career group counseling program and research. For this purpose, we analyzed the 61 peer-reviewed papers published in the KCI journals and the KCI-candidate journals from 2001 to 2019, which are related to 'career group counseling program for college students'. As a result of the analysis, the most studies were conducted for a specific group of college students like female students(6), freshmen(5), and students with disabilities(5). The academic fields with the most publications for college students' career group counseling were in order of education(35), psychology(12), and interdisciplinary research(10). For program topic, the group programs focused on career factors(35) were the most studied, followed by counseling theory(12), media counseling(10), and psychological tests(3). A meta-analysis was performed on the 41 papers that applied the control group experimental design among the 61 reviewed papers. Our meta-analysis with 86 effect sizes reported that the overall average effect size of career group counseling was 1.3639, showing a very large effect. We additionally analyzed the effect of moderating variables according to the group operation method (group size, number of sessions, operating time per session) and dependent variables. Finally, some implications, limitations, and suggestions were discussed based on the research trend and meta-analysis results in this study.
