본 연구의 목적은 고령발달장애인의 개인별지원계획을 활성화시키기 위한 방안을 모색하기 위한 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내외 고령발달장애인 관련 기존의 선행연구에 대한 문헌적 검토를 통해 도출된 자료를 기반으로 발달장애인지원센터 종사자, 중·고령발달장애인 보호자 및 고령 발달장애인 전문가와 FGI를 실시하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 고령발달장애인의 개인별지원계획 수립 활성화를 위해서는 ʻ인력전문성강화와 네트워크 구축ʼ, ʻ고령발달장애인에 대한 이해강화ʼ, ʻ고령발달장애인 연령을 대상으로 하는 서비스강화ʼ, ʻ개인별지원계획 홍보ʼ, ʻ지역단위 운영ʼ의 필요성이 요구됨을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
This study aims to find out the desirable direction of establishment of individual support plan for the elderly with developmental disabilities. To accomplish this goal, we analyzed the data for the elderly people with developmental disabilities, and FGI study with employees of the Developmental Disabilities Support Center, older carers of the elderly with developmental disabilities and workers with Developmental Disabilities. The results of this study are as follows: 'Strengthening the expertise of employees and building networks', 'Strengthening understanding about the elderly persons with developmental disabilities', 'Strengthening the Services targeting the elderly people with developmental disabilities', 'Individual Support Plans' P.R', 'It suggests the need for 'community based operation'.
