초록

The Insider Movements (IM) is a phenomenon that has been observed, discussed, expounded and intensely critiqued for the last twenty- some-odd years.1 This article examines IM from a missiological perspective by asking two fundamental questions (part one and part two). The first question is quite broad: what is religion, especially from the pro-IM view? The conclusion to part one is that IM does not have a solidly biblical view of religion and its effects upon mankind. Part two explores just one of the possible results of a poorly founded view of religion: is there biblical support for IM? The conclusion for the second question is, again, negative, thus leaving IM without biblical support for what is allegedly being observed and reported by the advocates of IM.
