디지털 네이티브(Digital Native)1의 시대는 100세 인생주기의 전환과 디지털 테크놀로지의 혁명적인 발전이 초래하는 변화가 혼재하는 사회이다. 급진적인 변화 가운데 인간 존재가 위축되지 않기 위하여 주체성·정체성 형성을 위한 교육의 역할이 주목되는 바이다. 인간 내면의 가치에 대한 깊은 관심과 하나님의 형상을 지닌 존재로써 창조적인 삶을 지지하는기독교교육은 시대의 변화를 성찰하고 주체적인 개개인을 양성하기 위한의미 있는 논의와 실천적 대안을 제공할 수 있어야 할 것이다. 이에 본 논문은 디지털 사회에 대한 본질적인 통찰에 근거하여 디지털 네이티브 세대가 함양해야 할 핵심 역량을 제안하고 기독교적 관점에서 고찰하는데의의를 둔다. 자신에 대한 이해를 토대로 미래를 계획하는 일종의 자기경영을 의미하는 생애설계의 개념을 활용하고, 궁극적으로 자신을 성찰하고 표현하는 ‘이야기 쓰기’를 통해 ‘주변적 정체성’ 함양의 중요성을 제안한다.
Abstract
The digital native era is a period of history where the generation of people grew up in a society where technology was found everywhere. In a rapidly changing world, an important role of education is to help students form identity. Christian education should provide meaningful discussions and practical alternatives for human creative life. Therefore, this paper proposes core competencies that the digital native generation should cultivate based on essential insights into the digital society and examines them from a Christian perspective. It proposes the importance of cultivating "peripheral identity" through writing stories. These stories should reflect and express oneself utilizing the concept of life-planning. This life-planning curriculum helps the individual understand themselves which leads to them making plans for the future.
