중남미 지역에 관한 국내외 경제적 관심과 중요성에 비하여 중남미 지역에 대한 실증연구 특히 경영성과 측면에서의 실증연구가 부족하므로 중남미 진출기업에 대한 경영성과 측면의 실증연구가 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 중남미 수출기업의 국제화 성과에 영향을 미치는 기업의 글로벌역량을 실증 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 중남미 진출기업의 수출경쟁력 향상과 수출 증진을 위해서 기업이 구체적으로 어떤 글로벌역량을 개선할 필요가 있는지에 대한 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 KOTRA가 진행한 2019 GCL Test 설문 데이터를 기반으로 기업의 국제화 성과를 수출경쟁력과 수출성과로 분석하고, 국제화 성과에 영향을 미치는 글로벌 역량 9가지를 중심으로 연구를 진행했다. 실증분석 결과, 수출경쟁력과 수출성과에 영향을 미치는 글로벌역량은 네트워크를 제외하면 차이를 보였다. 수출경쟁력에는 시장전략, 제품, 네트워크 그리고 자금 역량이 유의한 정의 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 수출성과에는 전문인력, 네트워크 그리고 수출인프라 역량이 유의한 정의 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구 결과를 기반으로 경영적 시사점과 학술적 기여 그리고 한계점과 미래 연구를 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
Compared to the interest and importance of Latin America(Mid, Caribbean and South America), there is a lack of management level research. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the effect of global capability on the international business performance of Latin American exporters in Korea. And to suggest what kind of global capabilities companies need to improve in order to improve export competitiveness and export performance. This study analyzed international business performance as export competitiveness and export performance. And focused on nine global capability’s influence. This study used 2019 KOTRA’s GCL Test data. Empirical result shows that different result between export competitiveness and export performance, except networks. Market strategies, products, networks and financial resource capabilities have a significant impact on export competitiveness. And professional human resources, networks, and export infrastructure capabilities have a significant impact on export performance. Based on the results of this study, management implications and academic contributions are suggested. Also, limitations and future research are proposed.
