명소 만들기 중의 하나는 지역사회의 지속가능성을 보장하면서 관광활동을 매개로 지역을 활성화시키는 것이다. 외부자본 또는 기업가 자본에 의해 지역사회가 발전되는 것이 아니라 지역사회에 거주하는 지역주민이 주체가 되어 지역여건과 환경을 개선시켜 관광자원으로 활용하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 표선지역 어촌마을의 지역주민들이 지역에 분포하는 다양한 해양자원, 수려한 자연경관, 고유한 문화유적, 역사적 전통, 유형의 문화재, 독특한 지역특성 등을 활용하여 장소성을 부여하고, 질 높은 서비스를 제공하여 4계절 관광객이 방문하는 활성화 추진전략을 모색하는 것이다.
Abstract
Pyoo Sun Fishing Village are surrounded by seas, and the fishery harbor was developed along the coastline. Activating the region of the fishing village as the tourist attraction could not only provide the urban citizens with the region capable of satisfying their recreational desires, but contribute to the improved quality of the inhabitants' live and the increased income in the region of the fishery household. Travel tendency in modern times is now being generally changed from simply enjoying travel to motivating travel with maximizing the pleasure by participate or experiencing. As 5-day working system is becoming settled, traveler in family units and young travelers are expected to grow. Accordingly, demands on theme tours focusing on experience in fishing village will become greater in size. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to review the necessity of systematic study on experience tourism. This study suggests the method and strategy on how to revitalizing the experience tourism in fishing village. There lies the reason of this study, to provide suggestion to revitalizing strategy and policy in the future. The purpose of this study is to provide a guideline program in fishing village by applying the concept of place marketing. For this, the study will develop for fishing village revitalization by applying soft phase of rural tourism. The results of this study show that the concept of revitalizing program should be applied to fishing village areas in Jeju Province in order to increase the number of visitors.
