중소기업 일터혁신의 성공적인 추진과 정착 요인에 관한 연구

최근 기업들은 자동화, 로봇, 빅데이터, 사물인터넷 등으로 대표되는 제4차 산업혁명으로 인해 생산 분야만이 아니라 마케팅, HR 등에서도 근본적인 변화를 요구받고 있다. 대기업들은 재원과 함께 전문성을 보유하여 이를 활용하면서 대응하고 있지만, 중소기업의 경우 대기업과 달리 자원도 부족하고, 전문성도 부족해서 일터혁신과 같은 변화의 필요성을 인지하면서도 제대로 실행하지 못하고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 일터혁신의 필요성과 현황에 대해 설명한 후, 일터혁신에 대한 기존 이론을 간단히 정리하고, 중소기업이 일터혁신을 추진하고 성공적으로 정착시키기 위해서 필요한 사향을 크게 세 가지로 구분하여 정리하였다. 첫째, 일터혁신 주체의 입장에서 CEO의 인식전환과 소통활동, 근로자의 일터혁신 참여․협력과 자기개발, 노동조합을 포함한 근로자대표제도의 적극적인 태도와 역할, 정부와 대기업의 지원 활용 등에 대해 설명하였다. 둘째, 정부의 입장에서는 성공사례의 홍보와 확산, 업종과 지역단위 일터혁신 활동 지원, 일터혁신 컨트롤 타워 구축이 필요하다는 점을, 셋째, 학계의 학술적이고 전문화된 일터혁신 연구지원 등에 대해 설명하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 내용을 요약하고 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
In addition to COVID-19, companies have been asked to change fundamentally not only in production and operation but also in marketing and HR due to the 4th industrial revolution including automation, robots, big data, and the internet of things. Compared with large companies under Conglomerates in Korea, SMEs lack both resources and expertise, so they are unable to implement them properly even after they recognize the need for changes by workplace innovation. In this study, first of all, workplace innovation is defined and theories of workplace innovation are summarized. Then, the requirements for successful promotion and settlement of workplace innovation with SMEs are proposed. First, regarding the main participants for workplace innovation, active will and participation is important with government support for them. Second, the government should spread and promote the success stories of SME's workplace innovation, setup the control tower for workplace innovation policy implementation under several divisions, and promote regional and industry level workplace innovation. Lastly, scholars and practitioners need to study SME's workplace innovation academically and rigorously.
