광주 미래융합산업으로서의 문화예술콘텐츠 감성생활서비스 산업육성에 대한 타당성 연구

Abstract

Photonics industry in Gwangju has been 10 years starting from 2000, while obtaining much industrial development and research accomplishments. However, for the past 10 years, the city of Gwangju could not help coping with global and timely changes, according to the development of digital technology, the conversion into a low-wage labor-based country caused by labor-intensive industrial structure of manufacturing businesses and the policies such as the promotion of future convergence by central government. In this regard, as of 2010, the city of Gwangju needed to discuss future industries exclusive to its area, with intent to find out new industry groups corresponding to the utilization of the existing industry groups, photonics industry infrastructures, possibility of extension in businesses, the promotion of convergence industry by central government as a new growth engine industry and the development of Gwangju as a creative cultural city. This study attempted to suggest the validity for boosting culture & art contents and sensitivity service industries in Gwangju as future convergence industries in consideration of various circumstances.
