지역별 수산업의 부가가치 순이입 분석

수산업의 산업경쟁력을 제고하기 위해서 수산업과 연관 산업의 융복합화를 통한 연계 발전을 추진할 전망이다. 본 연구에서는 2013년 기준 지역산업연관표를 적용하여 우리나라 지역별 수산업의 부가가치유발효과 및 부가가치 순이입을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 지역별 수산업의 부가가치유발계수는 제주, 광주, 강원, 경남의 순으로 높은 값을 가진 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 유발계수 크기가 0.6433부터 0.6828까지 이르는 등 지역별 변동성이 낮은 편이다. 또한, 지역별 수산업의 부가가치 순이입은 전남, 부산, 경남, 제주, 경북의 순으로 높은 값을 가지며, 이들 지역의 수산업은 타 지역 대비 산업 경쟁력이 뛰어난 것으로 해석된다. 분석 결과는 부가가치의 이전 과정을 세부적으로 제시할 수 있으며, 지역별 산업경쟁력 지표로 활용할 수 있다. 본 연구는 수산분야에 부가가치 순이입 분석을 도입함으로써 수산연구의 스펙트럼을 확장하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The Korean government tries to conduct accompanied development projects through the convergence between the fisheries industry and related industries to improve competitiveness of the fisheries industry. We adopt the 2013 regional I-O tables obtained from the Bank of Korea, and analyze value-added inducing effects and net trade in value-added of regional fisheries industry. The analysis results reveal that Jeju, Gwangju, Gangwon, and Gyeongnam rank high in the perspective of value-added inducing effects of the regional fisheries industry. However, those values have lower variability with the range of 0.6433 to 0.6828. Moreover, Jeonnam, Busan, Gyeongnam, Jeju, and Gyeongbuk rank high with regard to net trade in value-added, which means that the fisheries industry of those regions has higher industry competitiveness than other regions. The result analysis allows researchers to capture added values transferred during the production process and provides an indicator of regional industry competitiveness. Introducing net trade in value-added will significantly contribute to expanding the spectrum of the fisheries research.
