『한국사』 교과서 고려시대 여성 관련 서술에 대한 분석과 제안

Abstract

This study covers the analysis on descriptions related to Goryeo Era’s females in eight Korean history textbooks published in 2014 and 2015. According to the learning achievement criteria described as “Based on the personal status system, Understanding on the Family System, the Marriage, the Custom and the Female Position and Learning the Social Scenes of Goryeo Era through such understanding” for the social subject course of 2009 revision by the Ministry of Education, more descriptions are included in chapters on Goryeo Era than that of other eras. Texts describe that the female position is very high in the aspect of family system with examples of the marriage custom living in the wife’s household and the male and female equal inheritance sharing. However, the position and life of female shouldn’t be expressed as a characteristic phenomenon in an era. In the perspective of that the females are historical beings, how the females were defined and how they lived in the Goryeo era should be examined while related to the before and after eras.
