Despite the other techniques photographs stand still subjects and creates a movement, pixilation and rotoscoping converts the movementimage of alive subject already existed to an animation image through filming processes. This paper will analyze technical characteristics and aesthetic characteristic of a pixilation and rotoscoping technique based on movement-image in animated film and accordingly consider a correlation between technology and aesthetics.
