Abstract
Tao Yuanming(陶淵明)'s "Peach Blossom Spring(桃花源)" presents a triple ecological space of nature, society, and spirit through the construction of a pastoral utopia: reflecting the agricultural production's compliance with natural laws at the natural ecological level; Advocate for the resolution of class oppression and the formation of a harmonious order at the social and ecological level; At the level of spiritual ecology, it demonstrates the inner peace of individuals in a simple life. This ideal vision combines the ethical vision of Confucianism's "Great Harmony" and the Taoist philosophy of "small country and few people", laying the foundation for the aesthetic paradigm of ancient Chinese countryside. Later literati promoted the significance and ecological connotation expansion of Peach Blossom Land Utopia through re creation, strengthened the aesthetic appreciation of natural landscapes, and highlighted the diverse value of natural ecology. From the perspective of contemporary ecological criticism, the Peach Blossom Spring style ecological utopia, as a model of ecological harmony, although limited by ancient productivity, provides cultural genes for modern symbiotic harmony. It warns against the erosion of ecology by anthropocentrism and, with its inherent compatibility with the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, advocates for a simple way of life and natural aesthetic experience, providing inspiration for the construction of contemporary ecological civilization.
