Abstract
Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate(ESR) test is a useful test for systemic disease monitoring in every hospital until these days. Both manual and semi automatic ESR test system are still using in these days, but they are very inconvenient and to need large sample volume and long time for the assay. SIRE Co. in Italy introduced fully automatic ESR analyser system to the worldwide customers a few year ago. ThiS system use the capillary photomeσy and is characterized to have very small sample volume, very fast to get a results and very convenient to use. So, we evaluated 109 random samples to get a correlation coefficient between the working ESR method of ICSH and TEST -1 analyser and got a following results 1. Their correlation is Y=1.0734X + 2.0484, r2 = 0.9156 and Statistical difference was not significant because the P value was 0.333, that is P >0.05 in this statistical evaluation between them. 2. The results of manual method of ICSH were disσibuted in 2-130mm and TEST-1 results were distributed in 2-120 mm.
