본 논문은 국내외의 국가지정 벤처평가기관과 일반기업 평가기관의 평가방법을 분석하여 새로운 관광벤처평가방안을 연구하고 있다. 또한 관광이라는 서비스의 특성을 고려한 평가지표를 개발하기 위하여 관련 분야 전문가 설문조사와 Focus Group 토론을 병행하여 실시하였다. 연구결과, 예비창업기업과 영업중인 기업에 대하여 동일하게 평가하는 방식과 차별화하는 방식을 구분하여 평가지표를 개발할 수 있었다. 평가는 경영성, 사업성, 혁신성 3부문으로 나누고 평가항목은 총 16개로서 모든 경우에 동일하게 적용할 수 있었다. 그러나 평가 세부내용에 있어서는 예비창업기업과 영업중인 기업이 성격을 달리하였다. 따라서 이 연구에서 제안하고 있는 관광벤처평가방법이 향후 관광벤처기업이 되고자 하는 업체, 관광을 연구하는 교육기관과 연구기관, 그리고 관광정책을 입안하는 정부부처에 관광분야 벤처평가와 관련된 기초자료로 사용되어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
In this study, a new evaluation method of tourism ventures has been developed by analysing existing evaluation models established and used by domestic and foreign governmental organizations and private companies. In addition, a questionnaire survey and a focus group discussion were conducted to develop a rational evaluation indicators for tourism venture. The research results showed that a tourism venture in operation and one in preparation could be evaluated using the same evaluation method or a different one. Sixteen evaluation indicators identified through the research could be applied to both venture types, in the three divisions of management ability, profitability and extent of revolution. However, details of an individual indicator were different between a tourism venture in operation and one in preparation.Accordingly, the evaluation method of tourism venture which is proposed in this research will provide an evaluation frame to venture firms, educational organizations and research institutes working in the tourism sector. Furthermore, it is also expected that this method will be used by public organizations as a basic resource when they want to build a new policy of tourism venture.
