이념과 기독교 영성에 대한 비교 분석적 연구

초록

본 논문은 이념과 영성 두 용어에 대한 역사와 정의를 소개하고, 이론적비교와 역사적 분석을 통해 두 용어를 이해해 이념과 영성의 관계에 대해고찰한다. 본 연구는 이념(ideology)과 기독교 영성에 대한 이론과 역사적사건들을 정치적이고 역사적인 관점에서 비교 분석한다. 이념과 영성에 대한 학자들의 논의를 중심으로 이념과 영성의 의미를 고찰하고 두 역사적용어의 관계에 대해 논의한다. 본 연구는 이념의 충돌과 그에 따른 부정적결과가 교회와 기독교인에게 이념충돌의 결과를 극복할 수 있는 기독교적이면서도 실천 가능한 사상과 영성을 찾도록 독려했다고 역설한다. 영성은이념의 충돌로 기인한 죽음, 파괴, 상처, 상실, 혼란, 두려움, 불확실성, 갈등, 반목, 절망 등을 다루고 회복시킬 방법을 제시한다. 통일 한국은 이념적 갈등이 해소된 상황을 맞게 될 것이라 기대하기 어렵다. 한국교회는 통일 한국시대에 앞서 이념 갈등에 있어 영성의 역할과 그 중요성을 인식하고 한국성도의 교육과 훈련을 위해 준비를 해야 한다. 이념적 충돌과 정치적 변화에민감하게 반응할 수 있는 시대적 영성의 능력과 감수성을 인식하고 성장시켜야 할 것이다.

Abstract

This study introduces the historical meaning and usage of the terms ‘ideology’ and ‘Christian spirituality’ and compares the two terms through theoretical and historical analysis. The purpose of this study is to reflect on the relationship between ideology and Christian spirituality for the Korean protestant churches to prepare the era of the reunification of Korea. This study suggests that the ideological conflicts in human history have encouraged Christians to find new Christian spiritualities that are practical and realizable in the Christian life. Christian spirituality is a Christian mean to deal with the aftermath of ideological conflicts like death, destruction, wound, loss, disorder, fear, and despair. The unified Korea of the South and the North will encounter a situation that still produces ideological clash from various social and religious matters. Korean protestant churches need to acknowledge the role and significance of Christian spirituality and should prepare themselves for the Unified Korea.
