본 논문은 라캉의 정신분석학 및 이것과 밀접히 관련된 아감벤의 정치철학의 관점에서 1970년대 유신체제의 성격을 새롭게 규명한 후 유신체제의 의미망 속에서 작가 오정희의 초기 문학이 갖는 ‘여성성’의 의미를 재조명함으로써, 그의 문학이 갖는 당대적 의미를 ‘문학과 정치의 관계’를 통해 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 다음 2장에서는 아감벤의 정치철학의 관점에서 1970년대 유신정권의 성격을 분석하고, 3장에서는 라캉의 정신분석학적 담론을 통해 유신체제의 남성적 구조를 밝히며, 4장에서는 당대 사회질서의 남성적 구조와 대비하여 오정희 문학의 여성성의 의미를 규명하고, 마지막 5장에서는 오정희 문학을 계기삼아 문학과 정치의 상관성에 대한 새로운 논의의 단초를 제안해 보도록 하겠다. 단, 본 연구는 오정희의 소설을 통해 여성성의 양상을 구체적으로 분석하는 데 초점을 맞추지 않는데, 이는 본 논문이 1970년대 한국여성문학의 정치성을 본격적으로 재고하는 연구의 일종 시론적 성격을 띠기 때문이다.
Abstract
In this study, I investigate the nature of Yu’shin[維新] Regime in the 1970’s from the standpoint of Jacques Lacan’s psychoanalytical discourse and Giorgio Agamben’s political philosophy that is closely connected with Lacan’s. And then I shed new light on the meaning of femininity that is implicit in Oh Jeong-hee’s early novels in the context of Yu’shin[維新] Regime. Thereby I intend to show historical meanings of her literature through the relation between literature and politics. For this, in the first place, I define the nature of Yu’shin Regime in the 1970’s as ‘the state of exception’ from Giorgio Agamben’s political philosophy. Secondly, I show the masculine structure of Yu’shin system through the psychoanalytical discourse of Jacques Lacan. Thirdly, I reveal the meaning of femininity that is implicit in Oh Jeong-hee’s literature comparing to the masculine structure of Yu’shin system. Lastly, I suggest the new start of full-scale discussion about the relation between literature and politics through Oh Jeong-hee’ literature. But, I premise beforehand that this thesis doesn’t focus on analyzing the aspect of femininity concretely through Oh Jeong-hee’s novels. That’s because this thesis takes on a kind of preliminary study for the further research that will reconsider the relation between literature and politics through the existential mode of women literatures in the 1970’s.
