유형론적 관점의 한국어 소유 서술구문 연구를 위한 기초적 논의
Some Issues for the Study on Korean Possessive Predicative Constructions from the Typological Perspective

본고는 언어 유형론적 관점과 원형 이론적 관점에서 한국어 소유 서술구문의 특징을 밝히기 위한 기초적 논의의 성격을 갖는다. 한국어 소유서술어와 소유 서술구문의 대표적인 예는 ‘철수에게 책이 있다.’에서 보는 것처럼 서술어 ‘있-’과 처소구문(표면상의)의 형식을 이용한 문장이 될 것이다. 그러나 본고에서는 소유의 원형적 속성들을 검토한 결과 검토 대상이 되는 소유 서술어와 소유 서술구문이 더 확장되어야 하고 그렇게 함으로써 한국어 소유 서술구문에 대한 총체적인 이해가 가능하다고 주장한다. 이러한 관점에서 원형성은 조금 떨어지지만 한국어 소유 서술구문의 서술어로 검토되어야 하는 서술어들의 예를 제시하였다. 그리고 비록 간략하지만 ‘있-’을 대상으로 ‘있-’이 소유 서술구문으로 사용되는 빈도가 어떠한지 그리고 ‘있-’이 소유의 하위 유형들 중 어떤 유형에 더 집중적으로 나타나는지 등을 살펴보았다.
Abstract
This paper deals with some basic issues for the study on Korean possessive predicative constructions from the typological point-of-view. The representative Korean possessive predicative construction has been regarded as locative construction such as "철수에게 책이 있다.”[Lit. To Cheolsu a book exists]. But we argue in this paper that there are various predicatives other than ‘있-’[exist] and the subtype of the possessive predicative construction needs to be investigated in more detail. In this light, we re-examined the prototypical concept of possession and then showed the prototypical properties of the possessive predicative constructions which could be used for the common feature and the classification of the possessive predicative constructions. Even though we do not sufficiently deal with the characteristics of the subtypes respectively and the distribution aspect, we briefly revealed the characteristics of ‘있-’ possessive predicative construction.
