李麟祥 그룹의 교유양상과 詩書畵 활동 연구

Abstract

This paper focuses on the activities of painting, calligraphy and literature of Lee Insang Group(or Danho Group)'s members while keeping company with one another. Lee Insang, Lee Yunyoung, O Chan, Song Munhuym and others occupied themselves with doing painting, calligraphic works and literary works. Also, they spent much times on traveling far. They kept distance from the political reality and clarified their courses opposing political courses of the mainstream society. The places for their companionship and the literature and art activities were their houses named Neunghogwan, Damhwajae, Sancheonjae, etc. They gathered together in those houses and spent times to study scriptures of Confucianism, paint pictures, do calligraphy and write poems. They shared their tastes about appreciating curios and gardening. They held two famous meetings for appreciating apricot flowers and lotuses in a unique way. They used ice lamp for apricot flowers and used glass lamp for lotuses in the night. Those appreciation methods showed a great sense of beauty. However, they set a much value on Confucian spirituality not realistic beauty when they did their painting, calligraphy and literary works.
