The Mongolian ethnic cultural vocabulary referenced in this article constitutes inherent linguistic units—including words, phrases, and idiomatic expressions—that embody the millennia-old cultural heritage of the Mongolian people. These terms vividly reflect nomadic customs and cognitive patterns through domains such as the “five traditional livestock species,” yurts (ger), traditional attire (deel), and dietary practices (dairy and meat-based foods). As the core components of the Mongolian lexicon, they represent invaluable language resources. In the digital era, multimodal documentation (text, images, audio, and video) enables precise, holistic, and dynamic representation of their cultural attributes. This approach not only serves as a crucial method for digitally empowered preservation of Mongolian cultural heritage but also provides multidimensional perspectives for Mongolian lexicographical studies, advancing interdisciplinary exploration of nomadic civilization.
