초록
교육목표의 설정 및 구성은 교육과정 체계화의 시작이자 출발점이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 초등 도덕과 또한 차기 교육과정 개정에 있어 우선적으로 교육목표 설정 및 구성에 신중을 기할 필요가 있다. 초등 도덕과 교육과정에 있어 교육목표는 교육 방향의 제시와 더불어 궁극적으로 추구하고자 하는 교육적 이상을 표현이라는 점에서 그 설정 및 구성에 엄밀화와 정련화가 요구된다. 그러나 이에 앞서 교육목표로 무엇을 설정하고, 그것을 어떤 근거에 의해 설정하는가가 선결요건으로 등장한다. 이 문제가 명료하게 해결되지 못할 경우 교육목표의 적절성 및 타당성은 의심을 받을 수 밖에 없으며, 이로 인해 교과교육으로서 초등 도덕과의 위상에 손상을 입히는 결과를 초래하게 된다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구는 초등 도덕과의 교육목표 설정을 위한 선결작업으로서 교육목표 추출 및 설정을 위한 근거로 교육목표 자원을 탐색해 봄으로써 효율적이고 타당한 교육목표 설정 및 구성에 이바지하고자 한다.
Abstract
Establishing educational goals is the starting point for curriculum of elementary moral education. Therefore we need to take a prudent attitude when we do the next revision of it. It is necessary for us to make educational goals in moral education for elementary school level strict and precise as they represent an educational ideal to seek after ultimately, and indicate the educational course to pursue. But prior to this, the first problem we may encounter is that we need to know what to choose for educational goals and what to consider as the basis of them. If this problem is not clearly solved, the appropriateness and validity of educational goals will come into question. After all, educating elementary moral contents as a separate subject will lower the quality of moral education. In this perspective, this study helps us to formulate educational goals in elementary moral education through searching for sources of them as a previous task of setting up the goals of elementary moral education.
