Abstract

Students face the challenges of new knowledge systems formed by rapid advances in technology. They are required to be able to effectively interact with and critically evaluate AI as designers, developers, and users. Among literacy skills, particular attention needs to be paid to digital literacy. AI technology based on ethics and the ability to manage data are required for job performance. For this reason, a new AI education concept aimed at fostering AI literacy is needed. In addition, it is required to find an education plan that takes into account the age of the students. Therefore, this study dealt with the following ideas. First, the concept and necessity of AI literacy was reviewed. The competencies required for this have been extracted. Second, the characteristics of children's brain development were identified. Third, the AI literacy education instruction method based on neuroscience was combined with AI ethics education. Ultimately, I presented a practical AI literacy education plan in the elementary school's moral education.
