Abstract

In this day, it is changing comtemporary society. Most children live in comtemporary society. Moral curriculum that will revise newly must reflect modern society. Then narrative is seen as the form suited to capture the contextual particularity that characterizes moral action in contemporary society. Narrative respect to story. The media is composing story and is a medium which makes a story. Especially the movie is composed with narrative. we argue method of moral education through movie. So we concern about method of moral education through movie literacy and movie maker. Because it can be one of moral education through method in which the human mind interprets and speculates upon the society and translates lived experience into conceptual understanding. It is in this broad moral sense that stories are better appreciated as carriers of moral values, rather then being conceived of as illustrative of simple moral rules. Moral education through movie literacy and movie maker help extension of moral judgement ability. And it help the life which the students is more maturity. And movie literacy and movie maker develop moral imagination, practice, moral judgement, moral compassion. And we produced a good effect of method moral education through movie.
