본 연구는 초등 도덕과 교육에서 인공지능윤리교육을 위한 방안을 모색하는 것에 목적이 있다. 특히, ‘인공적 도덕 행위자(AMA)’ 논의를 중심으로, 인공지능의 행위 결정에 대한 윤리적 행위 원칙에 주목하여, 인공지능 윤리 교육의 실제적 적용방안을 제안하였다. 이를 위해, AMA의 기준 및 수준, 윤리적 행위 원칙을 살펴보고, 2022 도덕과 교육과정의 인공지능윤리교육 관련 부분을 분석하여 초등 도덕과에서의 구체적인 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 이러한 인공지능윤리교육은 학생들이 도덕적 행위자로서 인공지능을 이해하고, 인공지능 기술을 윤리적으로 활용할 수 있는 책임감 있는 사회 구성원으로 성장하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore ways to teach AI ethics in elementary moral education. Specifically, by focusing on the discussion of 'artificial moral agent' (AMA), this study proposes practical applications for AI ethics education that emphasize the principles guiding ethical behavior in AI decision-making. To achieve this, we examined the standards and levels of AMAs and the principles of ethical behavior, analyzed relevant sections of the 2022 curriculum for AI ethics education, and proposed a specific educational plan for elementary moral studies. Implementing AI ethics education in elementary moral studies can help students understand AI as a moral agent and develop into responsible members of society who can ethically utilize AI technology.
