베이비붐 세대의 퇴직기대 유형과 퇴직준비교육-A지방자치단체 공무원을 중심으로-

이 연구는 베이비붐 세대 공무원을 대상으로 하여 그들이 생각하고 있는 퇴직에 대한 기대 유형과 퇴직준비교육 참여여부를 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 연구결과 첫째, 퇴직기대 유형은 5개 요인(강요된 좌절, 새로운 출발, 휴식, 경력의 완성, 계속)이 추출되었고 전체 퇴직기대 변량의 57.56%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 베이비붐 세대 공무원은 퇴직 이전에 퇴직준비교육프로그램에 참여한다. 69.4%, 참여 않는다. 16.3%, 무응답 14,3%로 나타났다. 퇴직준비교육 프로그램 참여한다는 응답은 취미/여가/여행 93.3%, 건강 89.9%, 자기개발 및 평생교육 88.0%, 사회 이웃 등과의 인간관계 84.1%, 사회봉사 83.7%, 문화예술 78.4%, 부동산 등 재산 72.1%, 재취업 55.8%, 창업 41.32%, 귀농 등 기타 7.7% 순으로 나타났다. 퇴직기대 유형은 다양한 범주이므로 퇴직 전후의 교육프로그램에 대한 담론이 필요함을 시사한다. 후속 연구는 국가공무원, 교육공무원 등 다양한 집단을 대상으로 연구를 확대하여 퇴직기대, 퇴직준비교육에 대한 보다 더 이론적이고 실증적인 담론이 필요하다.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the retirement expectation type and participation of retirement preparation education for public officials in the baby boom generation. The research results are as follows. Firstly, the retirement expectation types were extracted as 5 factors (forced frustration, new start, rest, completion of career, continuation). And it explained 57.56% of the overall retirement expectation variation amount. Secondly, among the public officials of the baby boom generation, 69.4% participated in the retirement preparation education program, 16.3% did not participated and 14.3% did not give answers. As for the participation of the retirement preparation education program, 93.3% participated in hobby/ leisure/ travel, 89.9% in health, 88.0% in self-development and life-long education, 84.1% in interpersonal relation such as neighbor, 83.7% in social service, 78.4% in cultural art, 72.1% in real estate and property, 55.8% in re-employment, 41.32% in start-up business and 7.7% in returning to farming and others. As the retirement expectation types are various categories, it indicates the need of a discourse on the education program before and after the retirement. It is necessary in the following study to figure out more theoretical and empirical discourses on retirement expectation and retirement preparation education by expanding the research groups to various groups including national public official and public education officials.
