철학상담에 있어 키에르케고어 철학의 적용가능성 검토

우리가 ‘철학’이라고 부르는 활동은 사람이 살아가는 구체적 현실과 결부된 실천적인 물음들로부터 생겨났다. 그러나 여러 분과 학문들이 생겨난 근대를 지나며 철학은 대학의 강의실로 활동영역을 축소당했고 강단철학이라는 비웃음을 받게 되었다. 이런 상황에 문제의식을 가진 연구인들이 1980년대에 철학실천을 주장하였다. 그 가운데 철학상담이 오늘날 주목받는다. 하지만 철학상담은 그 정체성 문제로 혼란을 겪는 중이다. 이는 철학이라는 활동 자체가 가진 숙명적인 결과라고 보여진다. 이 논문은 현대 철학상담에서 독보적인 위치를 차지하는 피터 B. 라베의 철학상담 4단계 모델에 키에르케고어 철학을 적용하는 가능성을 검토하고자 한다. 라베의 4단계 철학상담 모델은 “자유롭게 떠돌기”, “당면문제해결”, “의도적 행위로서의 교육”, “초월”로 구성된다. 이 단계들은 순차적으로 발전하는 것이 아니라 중첩되고 역행하기도 하는 유기적인 철학상담모델이다. 키에르케고어의 철학은 독자들에게 그들이 듣고 싶은 말을 충분히 들려주면서도근본적인 문제들에 직면하게 만들고 선택하여 스스로 자유와 독립을 성취하게 만드는 특성이 있다. 이런 키에르케고어 철학의 특성은 라베의 4단계 철학상담모델이 지향하는 목표를 공유한다.
Abstract
This article is a groping that Raabe's 4 stages philosophical counseling model is appropriate to Kierkegaard's corpus. Raabe's 4 stages are "Free -Floating","Immediate Problem Resolution", "Teaching As an Intentional Act","Transcendence". Each of the stages is overlapped and reverse order. The writings of Kierkegaard are very complicated owing to various pen name and different form. However, the intention of his writings takes after Socrates's task which breaks contemporaries' illusion. Being dissimilar to general books ,in Kierkegaard's writings, the relationship of the writer and the reader is confused. Dew to Kierkegaard's diverse pen name and complicated form, he for himself becomes at a time a writer and a reader. At this point, Kierkegaard's huge corpus can be applicated to Raabe's 4 stages philosophical counseling model.
