대학교육에서 교수자의 교수수행에 대한 학습자의 인식이 학습자의 학습동기, 학습태도 및 학습만족도에 미치는 영향

초록

대학은 대학교육의 질(質)을 관리하고 향상시키기 위하여 다각적인 노력을 해왔으며, 이를 위해 대학 교수자의 교수수행 능력의 향상을 통해 대학교육의 질을 개선하고자 하는 노력이 이루어져 오고 있다. 그렇다면, 과연 교육활동과 밀접하게 관련이 있는 대학 교수자의 교수수행 능력은 학습자의 학습결과에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는가? 이에 본 연구에서는 대학교육에서 교수자의 교수수행에 대한 학습자의 인식이 학습동기, 학습태도 및 학습만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 대학생 62명의 학생들을 대상으로 대학 교수자의 교수수행에 대한 학습자의 인식이 학습자의 학습결과인 학습동기, 학습태도 및 학습만족도에 미치는 영향을 중다회귀분석으로 검증하였다. 연구결과에 따르면, 교수자의 교수수행에 대한 학습자의 인식은 학습동기, 학습태도, 학습만족도에 매우 높은 수수준의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 교수수행에 대한 인식(수업계획 및 조직, 수업내용 전달, 학생과의 상호작용, 수업환경 조성, 수업에 대한 성의와 열의)과 학습동기, 학습태도 그리고 학습만족도와의 중다회귀분석 결과에 따르면, ‘수업환경 조성’ 요인만이 학습동기, 학습태도, 학습만족도에 유의미하게 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 기반으로 대학교육 환경에서 교수수행에 대한 학습자의 인식이 학습결과에 미치는 영향에 대하여 해석 및 논의를 하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of university students' perception of instructional performances on learning motivation, learning attitude, and learning satisfaction. To address this goal, 62 university students (male 11, female 51) who enrolled an educational technology course participated in this study. Four types of surveys were administered regarding perception of an instructor’s instructional performances, students' learning motivation, learning attitude, and learning satisfaction. The collected data were analyzed in terms of correlation and multiple regression with SPSS 18.0. As a result, the perception of instructional performances had a very high correlation with students’ learning motivation, learning attitude, and learning satisfaction. In the result of multiple-regression, only one sub-factor of instructional performances, environmental coordination was identify as predictor variable on students’ learning motivation, attitude, and satisfaction. Based on the result, the three sub-constructs of environmental coordination which are attention, coordination of educational atmosphere, and physical environmental coordination were discussed in detail.
