푸코의 니체 활용에 대하여 : 니체의 ‘힘에의 의지’로부터 푸코의 ‘권력/지식의 효과’로

본 연구는 권력/지식의 효과를 중심으로 근대적 주체화의 역사성을 탐구하던 권 력의 철학자이며 동시에 우리의 현재가 지금과 다른 방식으로 존재할 수 있는 가능성을 타진하는 ‘현재의 역사가’인 푸코가 자신의 새로운 얼굴을 드러낼 때마다 결정적으로 만나게 되는 니체의 영향력을 푸코의 니체 활용의 관점에서 분석할 것이다. 주요 텍스트는 1970년 이후 푸코가 니체로부터 받은 영향이 자신의 연구 주제와 방법론에 직접적으로 반영되는 시기의 저작들 (『지식의 고고학』(1969), 『담론의 질서』(1971), 『지식의 의지에 관한 강의: 콜레주드프랑스 강의1970-1971』(2011), 『감시와 처벌』 (1975), 『성의 역사 1』(1976) 『사회를 보호해야 한다: 콜레주드프랑스 강의 1975-1976』(1997))로 한정하여 검토할 것이다. 이때 푸코가 만나는 니체는 이성적 사유 밖의 언어를 다루는 문학가 니체가 아니라 지식 형성에서의 힘들의 대결을 앞세우며 서구 철학사와 치열하게 대결하고 있었던 니체였다는 점에서 푸코의 니체 활용이 진리의 정치학 안에서 본격화된다는 점에 주목할 필요가 있다. 그러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 60년대 후반에서 70년대 중반의 공간의 문제와 권 력/지식의 효과를 중심으로 푸코의 권력에 대한 이해가 니체를 어떠한 수준에서 활용함으로써 정제되었는지의 과정을 검토할 것이다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로 지식, 권력, 윤리의 주제 안에서 늘 역동적으로 변화하였던 푸코의 권력에 대한 이해가 니체 활용을 통해 개념적으로 보다 정제화되고, 실천적으로 본격화되었음에 강조하고자 한다.
Abstract
This study will analyze the influence of Foucault received from Nietzsche in terms of “Foucault’s use of Nietzsche” whenever Foucault confronts decisive moment revealing his new faces as a ‘historian of the present’ and ‘philosopher of power’ as well. And the main texts are works considered to be under the direct influence on the re-reading of Foucault's Nietzsche as Archeology of Knowledge (1969), The Order of Discourse (1971), “Society Must be Defended”: Lectures at the Collège de France 1975-1976. (1997), and "Will to knowledge”: Lectures at the Collège de France 1970-1971. (2011), Discipline and Punishment (1975). The History of Sexuality Vol.Ⅰ: Will to Knowledge.(1976). Friedrich Nietzsche, was not a Nietzschean as a literary artist who met Foucault in the series of anti-rationalism at that time, but was with the Western philosopher who led to the confrontation between forces in the formation of knowledge. And it It should be noted that this is subsequently achieved in the system of truth in Foucault’s thought. So It will help us to understand Foucault’s conception of power, which has always dynamically changed within the subject of knowledge, power, and ethics, by adding philosophical pre-history in terms of ‘Foucault’s use of Nietzsche’
