존재로부터 주체와 형이상학의 회복은 그것들을 다시 우리 앞으로 불러와 세움이 아니다. 회복이란 인간의 본질 역사로 되돌아가기 위하여 한걸음 뒤로 물러섬이다. 되돌아감은 과거로의 회기가 아니라 다른 시원을 향한 도약이다. 그것은 현존재를 구속하던 것으로부터의 풀려나 있음이자 기존에 익숙했던 것으로부터 떨어져 나와 새로운 길을 선택하기 위한 결단이다. 이러한 결단과 풀려나 있음을 위해 필연적인 것이 전회의 ‘사유’이다. 전회는 하이데거 사유의 변화가 아니다. 몇몇 연구자들의 주장처럼 현존재의 시간성, 존재이해 등의 한계 때문에 전회가 필요한 것이 아니라, 존재의 진리에 대한 물음은 인간의 본질 역사에 대한 물음으로서, 여전히 현존재의 시간성, 존재이해 등이 필요하기 때문에 필연적으로 전회하게 되는 것이다. ‘존재의 진리를 사유한다는 것’의 진정한 의미를 회복하기 위해서는 현존재의 시간성에서 되돌아봄 뿐만 아니라, 존재의 역사성에서 되돌아봄이 동시에 전회적으로 수행되어야 한다. 전회란, 마치 마라토너가 반환점을 돌아 다시 원래 자리로 돌아오듯, 인간의 본질에서 시작하여 존재물음을 경유하고 다시 근원적인 인간의 본질로 되돌아가는 사유의 전체 과정이다. ‘인간의 본질’을 향한 ‘전회의 여정’에서 비로소 ‘존재의 진리’를 마주하게 되고, ‘존재의 진리’를 향한 ‘사유의 여정’에서 비로소 ‘인간의 본질’을 마주하게 되는 것이다.
Abstract
The retrieval(Wiederholung) of the subject and metaphysics from Being is not bringing them back to us. Retrieval is one step back in order to return to the history of man’s essence. It is the dis-closedness(Ent-schlossenheit) from what has bound the Da-sein so far, and it is a opening-resoluteness(Entschlossenheit) to move away from what has been used and choose a new way. For this opening- resoluteness and dis-closedness, the thinking of turning(Kehre) is inevitable. The turning is not a change of Heidegger’s thinking. As some researchers have argued, the turning is not necessary because of limitations such as Dasein’s temporality and understanding of Being(Seinsverständnis). But, inevitably, it turns itself in itself because it still requires Dasein’s temporality and understanding of Being, etc. ― the question of the truth of Being is the question of the history of man’s essence. In order to retrieve the true meaning of “thinking the truth of Being,” not only the temporality of Dasein, but also the historicality of Being, must be looked back(zurückblicken) at the same time, in turn. Turning is the whole process of thinking, starting from the human essence, passing through the question of Being, and returning to the original(ursprünglich) human essence, just as a marathoner turns around and returns to its original position. In the “Journey(Fahrt) of Turning” toward “the essence of human beings”, we finally face “the truth of Being”, and it is only in the “Journey of Thinking” towards “the truth of Being” that we will finally encounter the “the essence of human beings”.
