현대 사회에서는 개인의 고립과 자유가 동일시되면서 개인의 자유를 실현할 객관적 조건에 대한 성찰이 결여되고 있다. 또 경쟁에서 밀려난 개인에게 그들의 실패의 책임을 지우면서 혐오의 논리가 작동한다. 이런 상황에서 우리는 고립된 개인이라는 경쟁 모델을 넘어서, 자유의 사회적이고 집합적인 차원의 논의를 수행할 필요가 있다. 이 글의 목표는 이러한 관심 속에서 헤겔과 아도르노의 서로 다른 변증법 모델이 다루고 있는 정치적 자유 개념을 비교하는 것이다. 헤겔의 긍정적 자유 개념, 그리고 자유를 위한 통합은 아도르노가 강조하는 부정적 자유 개념과 저항으로서의 자유와 불일치를 이룬다. 그러나 동시에 이 두 자유 개념은 일정한 유사성을 드러낸다. 그것은 첫째로, 개인의 자유는 그것을 실현할 객관적 조건에 대한 관심을 요청한다는 사실이다. 둘째로 양자는 개인을 사회적 존재로 고찰함으로써 자유의 사회적이고 집합적인 실현과정을 중시했다. 이러한 고찰을 통해 헤겔과 아도르노에게서 자유의 역동적 성격과 자유가 해방과 이루는 성좌를 추적하는 것이 이 글의 최종적 목표가 될 것이다.
Abstract
In contemporary society, individual isolation and freedom are identified. In this situation, there is a lack of reflection on the objective conditions for realizing individual freedom. Also the logic of hatred operates in this context by placing responsibility for the failure of individuals who are pushed out of competition. In this context, we need to go beyond the competitive model of isolated individuals and discuss the social and collective dimensions of freedom. The goal of this article is to compare the concepts of political freedom addressed by Hegel and Adorno’s different dialectical models in this interest. Through this consideration, the ultimate goal of this article will be to trace the dynamic nature of freedom and the constellation that freedom forms with liberation in Hegel and Adorno.
