Abstract
This study explores the educational potential of chaos based on Alfred North Whitehead’s concept of potentiality in process philosophy. Challenging the transmission model of inert ideas, the paper redefines education as a dynamic process of becoming rooted in life itself. Integrating insights from Prigogine, Bohm, and Kauffman, chaos is reinterpreted not as disorder but as a generative space for creativity and transformation. The study proposes three directions for chaos-based education: open-ended, process-centered learning environments; event-driven, responsive learning experiences; and integrative, self-organizing modes of learning. It argues that education should serve as a living space of potentiality, where teachers act as catalysts and learners as self-forming organisms engaged in collective becoming.
