중학교 생명 영역의 과학과 수업모형 적용 효과에 관한 비교 연구: 순환

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effective instructional models of science instructional ones on 'the circulation' of the life field of the 7th grade science. Discovery learning model, learning cycle model, and STS(Science-Technology-Society) model were used in this study. The subjects were 143 the 7th graders of 4 classes in Daechon Middle School, Boryoung, Chungnam. The one of 4 classes was the control group, other three classes were the treatment groups of respective instructional models. To examine the effective instructional models, the levels of biology achievements and inquiry consideration were tested by ANCOVA with the pretest-protest. It was found that discovery learning model, learning cycle model, and STS(Science-Technology-Society) models were effective on the biology achievement of 'the circulation' of the life filed, but that only learning cycle model was effective to improve the inquiry consideration. These results suggested that different instructional models should be applied by learning topics or experiments of biology.
