젊은 유방암 생존자의 삶의 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

초록

연구 목적: 본 연구는 유방암 진단을 받은 젊은 여성의 삶 속에서 경험된 유방암 투병과 살아내는 이야기를 그들의 삶을 통해 적응한 경험을 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 연구 방법: 본 연구는 젊은 유방암 진단을 받은 생존자의 삶을 통한 적응 경험을 이해하기 위해 내러티브 탐구 방법을 활용하여 40대 여성 2명을 대상으로 진행하였다. 연구 내용: 젊은 유방암 생존자가 살아온 경험의 통합적 의미는 첫째. 책임감과 외로움에 둘러싸인 삶을 경험하였다. 둘째, 희망과 재발에 대한 불안을 경험하였으며 셋째, 자신의 삶을 돌아보며 작은 것에 대한 소소한 행복과 감사를 경험하였다. 결론 및 제언: 본 연구는 젊은 유방암 생존자들의 삶 속에서 경험한 삶의 변화와 적응까지 탐구하는데 의의가 있다. 또한 추후 젊은 유방암 생존자들을 대상으로 한 다양한 방법으로 반복 연구가 필요하며 관점의 변화와 내면의 성장을 경험할 수 있는 구체적 중재 방안이 필요하리라 사료된다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences of young women diagnosed with breast cancer in their struggles with breast cancer and their experiences of adapting through their lives. In order to understand the experiences of adaptation through life of survivors diagnosed with young breast cancer, this study was conducted with two women in their 40s using a narrative inquiry method. The results of the study on the integrated meaning of the experiences of young breast cancer survivors are as follows. first, they experienced a life surrounded by responsibility and loneliness. Second, It was experienced hope and anxiety about recurrence. Third, they experienced small happiness and gratitude for small things while looking back on their life. This study is meaningful in exploring the life changes and adaptations experienced in the lives of young breast cancer survivors. In the future, repeated studies with various methods targeting young breast cancer survivors are needed, and it is thought that specific interventions to experience change of perspective and inner growth are needed.
