Abstract
This study was to confirm the relationship between quality of life, sleep time, subjective health status and obesity. This is a secondary data analysis study that analyzed data from the 2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, and a total of 5,788 subjects were studied. Women aged 20-30 years old were more likely to be underweight, and it was found that the quality of life decreased when the body mass index increased, the sleep time decreased, and the state of health deteriorated. Male, older age, married, below elementary school graduate, no activity restrictions, less than 7 hours of sleep, poor subjective health, having stress and depression, drinking and smoking, not performing aerobic exercise, etc. were found to be highly correlated with obesity. In general, it is supported through health education to ensure that everyone gets enough sleep and maintain healthy lifestyle habits such as exercise, smoking cessation, and abstinence from alcohol. In particular, it is judged that various health care support focusing on the population group with demographic factors related to the risk of obesity is needed.
